How I Refurbished An Unusual Wall Hanging Into Christmas Cheer

Not my taste but purchased for a bargain.  This baby was regularly $85.00 at Ikea, but marked down to $4.99.    I had a great idea!!!!

This was suppose to be a baby gift but the more I looked at
it, it kind of freaked me out (a bit too much for a child's room.
So I tore it apart.....

took an old Santa's hat from the dollar store...

and made a place to put my Christmas cards that always seem to
pile up on a counter.  Now I can display them!
